With over two decades of experience, I’ve built a career at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and cultural impact—as a multi-platinum, Latin Grammy-nominated producer, composer, and executive. My work has been recognized with four Latin Grammy nominations and an ASCAP award, and spans collaborations with artists like Prince Royce, Natti Natasha, Sech, Lenny Tavárez, Dalex, Akon, Xtreme, Toby Love, Chris Brown, Leslie Grace, and many others.

Beyond the studio, I’ve led artist strategy at the highest levels. At Warner Music LATAM, I served as Director of Artist Strategy, where I developed breakthrough marketing plans for artists such as Justin Quiles, Tiago PZK, Myke Towers, and Blessd. Before that, at Rich Music, I played a key role in shaping Sech’s rise—from early recordings to the multi-platinum hit “Otro Trago.”

Today, I’m focused on pushing bachata into its next era. Through my independent label, SP Music, and the BCHTA RISING movement, I’m creating a platform that fuses deep respect for tradition with a bold vision for the future. From artist development to genre-defining productions, BCHTA RISING is building a global ecosystem for modern bachata—spanning releases, live shows, A&R, and cultural storytelling.

As part of that mission, I recently launched BCHTA RISING LIVE: The sP Polanco Sessions—a live performance series blending DJ culture, immersive visuals, and educational storytelling. It’s an experience designed not just to entertain, but to connect new audiences to the roots and evolution of the genre.

I’m a voting member of both the Recording Academy and the Latin Recording Academy, and I remain committed to discovering talent, mentoring creatives, and architecting music experiences that resonate far beyond the charts.
